The most honest picture of life at Nuravel comes from the people who see it up close — residents' families, and the experiences they share.

What Families Say

Nakhon Ratchasima — February 2026

My mother has been in the Terrace Residence for four months. When she first arrived she was withdrawn and slept a lot during the day. By the second month she was joining the morning walks and talking about the herb garden. The team never rushed her — they just created space for her to settle in her own time. As a family we feel genuinely at ease.

Pak Chong — January 2026

We enrolled my father in the Countryside Day Program while we arranged longer-term plans. The routine made a real difference quickly — he had something purposeful to look forward to each morning. The staff knew his name from day one and remembered small things about his preferences. We eventually moved him to the Terrace Residence and it felt like a natural step, not a difficult transition.

Nittaya Panyawong

Bangkok — March 2026

My grandmother moved into Jasmine Nursing Care in December. Being in Bangkok, I worried about not being close enough to know how she was doing. The monthly reports from her coordinator put my mind at rest — they are detailed and personal, not a form letter. The coordinator calls when anything changes and makes us feel involved. That means everything when you cannot be there in person.

Prayoon Srisuk

Korat — February 2026

I visited three care facilities before coming to Nuravel. The difference was immediate — the staff were unhurried, the setting felt genuinely calming, and when I asked questions they answered honestly, including the things that were still being improved. That honesty made me trust them. My father has been there since January and every visit reassures me.

Pak Chong — January 2026

The meals here surprised me on my first visit. Fresh, regional, and varied — the kind of food you would want for your own family. My mother has always been particular about food and she eats well here. The cooking seems to be something the team genuinely takes pride in, not just a requirement to fulfil.

Kittipong Onsri

Nakhon Ratchasima — March 2026

My uncle moved to Jasmine Nursing Care after a health deterioration in late 2025. The care team handled the transition with patience — including the difficult conversations our family needed to have. The family liaison was a steady presence for us throughout. I am grateful for the way they support not just residents, but the families who love them.

Care Journeys

Every family's experience is different. Here are three journeys that reflect the range of situations we support.

Challenge

A retired schoolteacher living alone in Korat was becoming increasingly isolated after her husband passed away. Her daughter, working in Bangkok, could not visit regularly and was concerned about both safety and wellbeing.

Approach

She joined the Countryside Day Program three times per week initially. The team worked to identify activities that matched her teaching background — she became a regular participant in group reading sessions and began mentoring others in the programme.

Outcome

Over three months her confidence and engagement grew noticeably. She now attends five days per week. Her daughter visits on alternate weekends and describes their relationship as closer than it has been in years — because both of them carry less anxiety.

"She called me after her first week and said it felt like she had somewhere to be again." — Family member

Challenge

A family in Pak Chong was caring for their elderly father at home. As his mobility declined and overnight care needs increased, the family was exhausted and the father himself felt guilty about the burden on them.

Approach

He moved into the Terrace Residence. The care coordinator met with the family before admission to understand his daily preferences in detail — his preferred wake-up time, the foods he liked, how much solitude he valued. This shaped his care plan from the first day.

Outcome

Six months in, the family visits weekly and describes the visits as genuinely enjoyable — time spent together rather than time managing care. The father told his son that he finally felt he was not a burden to anyone, which was what mattered most to him.

"He seems more like himself than he has in two years." — Son

Challenge

An elderly woman with progressive dementia needed full nursing care. Her family had tried two other facilities and felt that their mother was being managed rather than genuinely cared for — staff changed frequently and she became distressed by unfamiliar faces.

Approach

She joined Jasmine Nursing Care. The named care team was small and consistent. Staff used familiar Thai phrases and incorporated traditional Thai snack preparation into her daily engagement. Her room was arranged with familiar objects from home.

Outcome

Within eight weeks, episodes of distress became notably less frequent. The family noticed she recognised and responded warmly to two specific staff members. The family liaison helped the family understand the changes in her condition honestly and compassionately, so they felt supported through each stage.

"She smiles when she sees Nanthida now. That matters more to me than anything on paper." — Daughter
